Paul's Story

Hi. I'm the divorced father of two pretty great and grown-up kids who are far-flung across America. I went to Rice University in Houston after Westside for physics with the Navy and ended up with a BA in English/Psych and without the Navy - or a job. I was lucky to get into a programmer training class at a bank. After Omaha, I spent 35 years in Chicago and Denver writing financial software and doing trathlons on the side. I've got two Siamese cats because my kids made me get them a few ye...Expand for more
ars ago. These cats own me now. I've retired to the mountains of southern Colorado after being a caregiver to my parents for a couple of years. I became a stockbroker along the way to learn the business, so I get to write software for fun now ;-) I'm writing an app for iPhone and working on a novel in my spare time. Who cares if I finish?! I also hike, ski, board and ride my bike. It's beautiful here in the aspens at 9,300 feet - and fun! As for my ex: she became a Methodist minister.
