A poem that I wanted to share...:.)
Forgiving Rain
Looking out of my window today, thinking about matters of life,
I noticed there wasn't a cloud in the sky. A Robin cicled
around and perched on the bird bath that graced my flower
garden. It was dry. Just as quickly,he disappeared....
It hasn't rained in a while,I thought.
Taking a closer look I realized my flowers were beginning
to droop and the grass seemed less than green. All the
glorious colors seemed faded and old. A Lilly Pool near
the old oak tree, adjacent to the horse stables,(home to a
family of wood ducks)all but vanished from sight...
It hasn't rained in a while,I thought.

against the bluest sky. My eyes teared up. Sadness replaced
my smile. The tears began to flow on with no end in sight.
Clouding my vision from the dry and wilting prairie I called
home...
It hasn't rained in a while,I thought.
Suddenly a loud roar from the newly darkend sky snapped me
out of my stooper. Just as quickly as it had sounded it's
thunderous alarm, drops of liquid blanketed down from the
heavens. Intense and forgiving to my prairie home. It rained
long and hard. A few days later I found myself again in my
picture window seat looking at the constant precipitation...
All it does is rain of late,I thought.
Just then a Robin circled around and perched on the bird bath
that graced my flower garden~It was full of water.
