Mandie's Story
Anybody who new Marcy; Marcella Carol Osborn-Searl, would remember her with a large smile on their faces. She graduated from Cooper City High School in 1979. After high school, Marcy, married and divorced 18 month's later. She died in a autocrash 11/5/1982. It was a great loss in my life. I was in LPN school at the time, with Jesus at my side, I finished school and worked as a LPN. I conituned my education and attened a Community college to become a R.N. Meanwhile, I was doing a bad job on birth control and had my first child 6/12/1987 named Alesha Marcella. Luckly she was born durining summer break. ha during the day and Alesha helped me study duriing her nightling feeding times, as I read to her that days lesson. Everything was going great. Graduation was close...8/1988 when......I was pregnant with my second child, Luckly, He was born 12/3/1988 after graduation. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, father a career, I have always wanted. And, through God's strength I was able to complete my dreams. Alesha, now 20 is in college. She just won first place for a poem she wrote for black history month. I hope to post it soon. Mark my son, is waiting to pass a test for the Navy Acceptance. Mark (husband) and I will be married 23 years in August.
