Manua R's Story
Hi. Here I am again to tell you what I have been up to since graduating...just a few school graduations followed and then yrs as a registered nurse in hospitals and then the home and back to hospitals. I've been busy! But now I have retired and taking care of my grandson,Kaleb(31/2)who likes Star Wars so we "fight" with light sabers and kill those pesky Roger-Rogers and Klingers every day!! Its fun ery for a Nana so I have to stay well and able to do it right every day...can't be fighting the Jedi when I'm a "good guy" Kaleb tells me. He's my joy! My first husband died and we had two children..Jim and Kim who are busy with their own lives..2 grandchildren and they live here in Tallahassee near me. I married Jerry Floyd from our 1957 class..remember..? Well, we divorced in 1994 and he has remarried. I lost my Mom and Dad...they were 81 and 91 so they had a long and good life. Dads coffee shop in Warrington was before the MacDonalds ever existed so he made the best hamburgers you ever ate. I have had diabetes since 1957...late in the year....have been doing well every since.YOU should see me now at 125 lbs thats big for me.....anyway...I'm fine.My history doesn't matter...its all in the past, so they say!! See y...Expand for more

The band at Pensacola High...I had so much fun marching in parades and going places with them on the bus...I was sheltered so getting to go anywhere was a wonderful happening for me. Loved it!
I remember my Latin teacher..can't remember her name but I see her as older lady with grey hair..she called me Manure on day...I'll never forget it. I hated it so much....but she was still liked..my name is pronounced Mon Ya...stupid yes but Manure NO!!!
My family have gone from riches to rags during this recession. How blessed we are with houses and food and luxuries of life but...have no money. My son and daughter work and now so do I...trying to make a living! Thats good....it keeps us all busy and out of trouble. So great to be alive...53 yrs with diabetes and it hasn't gotten me yet. I have a pump x15 years...so so..weigh about 125 pounds..keep my hair brownish...haha....you thought I'ed say white...no...I don't go for white!! Enjoy life...my motto!
Barbara Hutto....are you out there?? I really would love to talk with you. We had such fun times as young girls with your mother and sister...and I think you had a brother. I remember the first bee sting I ever got was on your front porch....Lordy, I screamed.
