Life Hello old Killianites! I recall that I was going to be a lawyer, but realized after working for one and seeing the system operate that I could not do it and sleep at night! So I went to the University of Life for about 15 years and then decided to go back to college. Today I am a Radiographer at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville and I LOVE what I do. I work in the ER in the middle of the night on the weekends. and, believe me, I see it all since Shands is a trauma 1 hospital. I'm also a professional photographer. School In High School, all I wanted to do was graduate--and I did-almost a year early. No crushes, no cliques, I was fairly independent and not drawn to the cool or the fashinable. Even then, I loved photography and took photo night classes. Abby Hughes was my favorite teacher. College I went to MDCC where my mother,Marianne Burr,taught humanities music theory,& piano.Perhaps some of you had her! There,I learned I didn't want to practice law. In my 30's,I went to Santa FE C.C. in Gainesville and graduated with honors from the Radiological Sciences program with a double degree.
