Marcia's Story
After John Marshall, I attended Cal where I met my husband Whit. We were married for 6O years; he unfortunately passed away 4 years ago this February. 10 days after we married, we went to live in Hong Kong for 16 years. He and his family had a business building pleasure boats. American Marine Ltd. is best known for creating and building the long-distance trawler, the Grand Banks . dren ranging in ages from 5 to 32! I am lucky that a lot of my family live in nearby towns here in Northern Cal. At 40 I decided it was time to get out to work so I became a Realtor. My offices were in the cute little town of Los Altos (adjacent to Palo Alto). I didn't fully retire until I was 78. I have many happy memories of John Marshall High and living in Silverlake.
