Life
Retired from University of Houston - Main Campus in 2002. Married 41 years to best friend, Cecil Allen Cheatham, who worked for the City of Houston and retired December 2010. One son, Christopher Allen Cheatham, 33, (Master's in Training and Development at UH). He is employed at the University of Houston-Main Campus as Director of Communications and Marketing and married Tanya Riginio (legal assistant) on August 26, 2006. Chris is a retired pro-wrestler. I keep in touch regularly with Beverly Juneau Crawford (North Shore), Brenda Maness Parsons (Galveston), Terry Young Hampton (Hot Springs Village, AK), Elaine Young Nicholds (Flynn), Cathy Alexander Smith (Kingwood), Robbie Campbell Johnson (Houston), Barbara Pfeiffer Ramirez (Oklahoma), Linda Wyers Simmons (Lake Livingston), and Linda Porter Sparks (Houston)... Recently got together with other NS group--Charlotte Roche Smith (Horseshoe Bay-Austin), Mitzi Welker Seraphin (Houston), Jan Derr Nevins (Dallas), Sharon Simpson Schubert (Houston). Will hopefully retire to Grapeland, TX in the near future.
