Marcia's Story

After 2 years at Hamden High, then 2 years at High School in the Community I went to Southern and graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Work (It took me 5 years but I did it!). After graduation I got married and moved to Hawaii. My husband is in the Navy and we were stationed there for 9 years. Our son was born there - he is 7 now. Af...Expand for more
ter Hawaii we moved to San Diego and now we are in Florida. I work in admin at a small family-owned business. The pay isn't great but they are flexible with my schedule since my husband has been out to sea a lot lately. We are active with Cub Scouts, the neighborhood, going ATV riding, going to the beach, and just about anything outside.
