Marcia's Story
Hello to all Members of the Class of 67.
When I left Cathedral after junior year to start college early I missed out on all of the senior fun and of course wasn't included in the yearbook and so it was so good to see many of you at our 40th (gasp) reunion.

r long. That is still the case. Before I had my stuff on the moving truck I accepted a new job here as the Superintendent of the Jamestown, RI School Department. Jamestown is a beauticul island community just across the bridge from Newport. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to work there. That was 5 years ago and I am still at it. Still love the kids, the teachers and the work. While over the years I have learned to play the political game which is so large a part of the job, it certainly is not my favorite part. Getting girls interested in math and science like Sisters Marita Joseph, James Francis and Loretto Thomas did for me, is the most rewarding part.
I am once again beginning to think of a quiet retirement with more time to kayak, sail and travel. Maybe someday.
