Marcia's Story
After I left Norland in 1965, I worked in a law office until 1971, when I became a print model for Estee Lauder cosmetics, a runway model for Geoffrey Beene, and then an actress on the Dinner Theatre circuit, working in Key West, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and for Burt Reynolds in Jupiter. I married Sir Robert Charles (Chuck) Taylor in Nassau, Bahamas in 1972 and we divided our time between our homes in Fort Lauderdale, Nassau and Devonshire, England. rt Berry, in 1995 and we moved to the mountains of Georgia where I became a director of a national environmental organization, a member of the Executive Committee for the Democratic party in White County, Georgia and ran the 2000 presidential campaign headquarters in White County, Georgia. In 2008 I changed to Republican. In 2004, my husband's company transferred him to Lakeland, Florida, where we bought a 100 year old home in Bartow. I am currently retired and spend my time with friends, traveling, doing charity work, and working part-time as a design consultant/home stager.
