Marcia's Story
Since graduating from Highlands HS I have been around the world. I earned a BS Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and then my MD from Cornell University Medical College, NY, NY. I completed my residency in Northern California, UC Davis and UCSF and became Board Certified in Psychiatry while living in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I owned a Private Practice of Psychiatry specializing in Medication Management of treatment resistant depression and other mood and anxiety disorders from 1992-2017. I retired in 2017. I find joy in spending time with my retired husband, playing Mah Jongg, baking, cake decorating, sewing, designing and visiting our son and his family. I also have devoted 15 years to volunteering my time and financial donations to Monmouth University in the roll of a Board of Trustee member. Jim and I also continue to enjoy traveling the world as time permits!
