Life First, please write or call me (I'm in phone books) to let me know how you are and what you have been doing. I'm one of the luckiest women I know; a solid marriage, children who are now grown and successful, and working all my life in a career I adore. I spent a huge chunk of my life teaching at Carman High School (later Carman-Ainsworth High School.) My students in the early years truly taught me how to teach...and I listened and applied what they "taught" me. I was at Carman during the very best years of that district's life. Working as an adjunct instructor, I taught Children¿s Literature for UM Flint and EMU and various classes at Detroit College of Business. For 14 years I have taught Education and technology classes for a national company, Performance Learning Systems (PLS). After leaving Carman and training with MSU to be an Academic Coach for At-Risk schools, I have worked in the Flint, Westwood Heights, and Beecher Districts to help pull them out of at-risk status.
