I love my country, my heritage, my freedom, my liberty, & my faith.
I also love my family & friends. I appreciate all of those associates & acquaintences I have shared moments of my life with.
I truly enjoy the outdoors, athletics, music, art, movies, food, friendship, fellowship, learning, science, and sharing in all of such.
My favorite pasttimes involve singing, dancing, coaching football, and fishing.
Even in the most difficult of times, I am a tough-minded optimist...though I never loose the perspective of reality. Also I believe in being a re-affirming soul to those around me...especially when they need a friend & someone to believe in them. I am & always will be there for my friends & family when they want or need me to be.
I have empoweringly strong faith, beliefs, & morals...but do not either expect nor require others to agree or abide by them. (only they must RESPECT them, and not interfere!) It has never been a requirement for me to care about others. I refuse to "preach" at others.
I have never been married, though I have been engaged. I have seen heartache & heartbreak...but refuse to be defined by such sorrows.
I hope someday to find the one woman in the world whom I will spend the rest of eternity at each other's side. The one woman I also will raise a family with as well.
I am seriously considering going back to school once again so that I may get my teacher's ceritifcate. Being the consummate student, I know would also like to share that which I've both learned & experienced with others.
I have overcome my challenges in many parts, with still other parts yet to prevail upon. I am a dyslexic poet & songwriter whom has been published. I believe in perserverance...& anyone who decides to overcome their obstacles.
Currently I am overcoming my Army-related obstacles as I am now in my second year of taking dance lessons with Kristin Geil (& Monty Ham). I know just enough to know that I know very little...only enough to play the fool, it appears.".
