Marcy's Story
Life
Since graduation, I went to Kutztown University and half way through my sophmore year I called it quits. I then went into the Army and was stationed in Korea for a year, later moving to Ft. Benning Georgia where I completed 5 years of service as a military police officer. While at Ft. Benning, I went back to school and completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice through Troy State University (AL). Once I exited the military, I moved to Atlanta Georgia which is north of Benning. There I became a police officer in Cobb County. g undercover I opted to head back to college for my Masters Degree in Human Resources at Troy State. From there I recieved a part time job teaching college while still working as a police officer. I also opted to go back to school yet again! I have been working on my PhD since October 2006. In March of 2008 I took an early retirement from the police department to pursue my dream of teaching fulltime. So, now I am fulltime college teacher at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta Georgia. I am living in Dallas Georgia which is on the west side of Atlanta and have 2 dogs, no kids! I compete in adventure racing (mountain biking, kyaking, and running). I am still the crazy girl that I was in school and enjoy life!
