Marek's Story
Life
I've moved to the west coast, near Lake Tahoe(NV) back in 1989 and have happily stayed here ever since. I have been married since 2001. We have one daughter, Kara Mai Hajek, and another baby on the way. Life has been great. I work as an engineer for a healthcare company. I spend a lot of time rock climbing. This has been my favorite pastime since 1992. I love it so much I published a guidebook to a local climbing area. I have grown nostalgic about my high school years. School
I've got to say I remember Mr. Antonin Jandacek with fond memories. Although strict, he has helped me at the beginning when I didn't speak much english and then throughout high school. I still stay in touch with him from time to time.
College
I went to the University of Nevada, Reno 1992 to 1998. It took me a while to settle on a major. Started as a computer science then changed to electrical engineering and work on a psychology minor.
I would like to go back to school down the road. Most likely I would like patent law. We'll see.
