Margaret's Story
After graduating from Vocational I went on to college in Illinois. There I met Jim McChesney and as was a tradition at this time, I used my stenography skills in wonderull jobs and he went on to graduate school. We have two children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. We have lived in Illinois, MN, WI and back to MN to be with family which is very important to us.
I went back to college to finish my degree at Augsburg where I was working as a secretary to many different departments. Then I went on the the University of MN where I earned my MSW degree and have been using it in private practice and love working with my clients. I have integrated many skills which I learned from many wonderful professional teachers and leaders.
We love to travel as a couple, as extended family, with friends and have had terrific times together in Italy, France, and marvelous Vienna at an international Profe...Expand for more

I have had fun with the name, Margaret and enjoyed being called Peggy, Peg, and most recently (for 20 years now) Meg. So many wonderful memories throughout these years.
I have had illnesses which have guided me to a very full and acceptance of challenges which introduced me to in-depth skills as a psychotherapist. I belong to a group which has traveled and hiked in many places ; such as, on Iceland glaciers, Scotlandish Isles, twice to Australiz, climbed Mt. Sinai a couple times and in the Pyramids of Egypt. In Venezuela we took a small plane to meet with the early Yanomani Indians back in the rainforest. II have a great deal of gratitude for the full life lived with all its learning.
Just this past month our daughter as worked with me to create a photo scrapbook with stories. It was great to review the pictures and memories of past friends and read comments entered in the yearbooks!
