Margaret's Story
Life
After high school I worked as a certified nurses aide, then after that I worked at Angeles Health Care and did in-home care until my car accident in 1983. I am now disbled where I can't work. I adopted an African-American baby boy in 1995 who I named Josef Edward (Joey) Billingsley. He keeps me on my toes. I am now a stay-at-home mom who lives with my 76 yr. old mother who I take care of who has alzheimers disease plus I also take care of my mentally disbled brother so I have my plate full. touch with old friends and keeping up with the Class of 79. In 2006 my brother bob passed away, and i was not able to take care of my mom. My mom lives with her caregivers Andrea and Michael whitlock. andrea has known my family since we were in second grade. I'm thankful they were able to take care of my mom who will be 80 this oct. my son Joe will be 13 this aug and boy does he keep me on my toes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to our 30th year reunion. I can't wait to see all my old classmates again!!!!!!!!!!
