Margaret's Story
Life
After high school I went to Western Michigan University and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with an emphasis in design and technical production. I worked at Interlochen Arts Camp for two summers during college, and spent the summer after college in Utah, working at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City. After a short period of living back in Michigan, working a part-time job in retail an doing odd theatre jobs here and there, I spent a year and a half living in Little Rock, Arkansas working for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. in Washington, D.C. since July of 2001, working at The Shakespeare Theatre as a First Hand in their costume shop. I really love living in a big city. It has nearly everything I could ever want to do within my immediate reach. The architecture in D.C. is so beautiful and there is so much history in this city, there's always some kind of political demonstration going on, plus all the museums are free! What more could you want? I'm not so sure that I like living this close to Dubya and all his cronies, though...I wish he was moving out and someone new was moving in... :(
