Margaret's Story
Life
I'm not sure how many people actually remember me. I was very shy and quiet except around my close friends. I worked in an auto shop shortly after graduation for 7 yrs. That is where I met my husband.We married in 1973. I took a 6 yr leave from work when I had my children. I worked 15 yrs as a breakfast and lunch aide at a nearby school and also did alterations from my home for 15 years. During that time I was active with PTA and other school activities.Both of my children were active in theater and I spent many yrs sewing costumes for plays and musicals for which I became an honorary thespian. red after working part time for 15 yrs at CVS where I was the American Greetings card representative and did various other jobs. My daughter graduated in 2000 from Western Mich with a music degree for Music Therapy. She has been married since 2010. My son, also a graduate (2004) of WMU has his degree in electrical engineering. I enjoy reading, working puzzles and watching the old classic movies. I also plan to get back to doing more art, which was my passion before I married. With more time since retirement I would like to travel a bit more if my health will allow it. I would like to hear from anyone that might remember me.
