Margaret's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Schoolcraft for 3 years and them worked for Federal Mogul Corp. I married in 1974 and moved to Windsor. I had 3 kids and was a stay at home mom. I returned to school in 1986. I went to the University of Windsor School of Nursing and obtained my BsN. I currently work at Harper Hospital Emergency Room. I have one grandchild Lukas who is 5 months old. My husband is about to retire from Ford Motor Co. and, to tell you the truth, I will retire when he does. My oldest child lives in Northern Ontario and is a veterinary technician. She's married to an Engineer. My next child is a teacher who just got back in the country after working 2 years in the United Kingdom. He curren...Expand for more
tly teaches in Ontario at a high school. He teachs math and all sciences. My third child is an animator and is really into art. She will be exhibiting some of her pieces at the Motor City Comic Convention on October 15 and 16 in Novi. Some of her pieces are being published in a magazine in the UK which is sent all over the world. As you can tell I'm really proud of what they've done. When I'm not at work, I lead a rather quiet life. As everyone knows, ER can get rather hectic in the Detroit area. I enjoy gardening, reading, and just plain relaxing!! Even though my kids are grown up they still keep me quite busy. Work, also, keeps me busy with all the exams I have to take to stay where I am.
