Margaret's Story
Well here I am at 71 years old. Married to Jorge Guerra since 1968. We have three GROWN kids and only one granddaughter. Her name is Caitlin Guerra. I'm retired from the federal government after 37 years of service. I worked part-time for Holy Family Church in South Pasadena for 10 years after my reitrement in 1996. h traveling. I look at my life as a glass half full instead of half empty since there are many others who are worse off than me. I'm ambulatory and Jorge takes good care of me. Some people are bedridden or are in a wheelchair. I can still walk and take care of my personal needs. Thank God. I belond to a couple of retiree groups which keep me connected to the outside world.
