Margaret's Story
Currently I live in Elizabethtown, KY. It's a small but great town that has truly grown on me. The people are very friendly here. My husband Bobby and I have lived here since 10/1999. He is retired from the US Army and currently works as a civilian (Training Specialist) at Ft. Knox. I have been a dental hygienist since graduating at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1988. After graduation from Carolina I lived in New Bern, Greenville, and Washington, NC. Then I made a big move to Chur, Switzerland in 1992 and lived there for almost 2 years before returning to NC. I met my husband shortly after that and we married in 1997.
I have two stepsons Vaughn (23) and Brock (18). I am now a proud step-grandma of a little girl, Kayleigh (Vaughn's daughter). Bobby and I...Expand for more
love doing things with the children and love to travel. Snow skiing and sunbathing are my favorite hobbies.
I still keep in touch with my best friend from high school, Drenda Strickland and several Carolina friends Jennifer Domville, Erika Mangrum, and Christie Bollinger. I have been to my high school reunions and enjoyed them very much. I guess when you live so far away from everyone you grew up with it feels more important to you to do so. I encourage anyone to attend their high school reunions, its always very interesting!!! By the way, my family and close friends have always called me Chris, Margaret is just my first name that teachers used (I was always to shy to tell anyone to call me Chris). Believe me, I have changed alot since then!
