Life
Still living in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. I really love it here and have learned to handle the summers well. Spend alot of time in the pool in the summer months.
I Have recently quit my job at Kennel Comfort Pet Motel. I started working there last Sept. and really enjoyed the job. I had worked there before about 14 years ago, but switched to Animal Control and worked there for two years. Very hard place to work. But I did save alot of pets thanks to the help of Fair. (Foundation for Animals in Risk.) After Animal Control I had several other jobs, worked at the Arizona Senora Desert Museum, Home Depot, etc. then went on to Creature Comforts Pet Resort for about 10 years. Sadly a new owner took over, I stayed for 3 years and left when she wouldn't give me a raise. Went back to Kennel Comfort with the same pay and a raise within a month.

My husband of 16 years is currently working in the Green Valley Copper Mine owned by Phelps Dodge (Freeport-McMoran). They keep changing owners. He works in the crusher and is currently a control room operator. But he may be retiring soon. That is where I met him, working as a Crusher Maint. Tech. and heavy equipment operator.
Well back to working 1-2 days a week at Creature Comforts, I got bored, it's also nice to have some of your own spending money.
I have many pets, A Sun Conure (Bird) named Ruby Sue. Shiloh a Queensland Heeler, the new addition to the family, born Jan 3, 2006, just loves to play ball, and will do very well at agility. I also have 3 goats, all nubians, Louise, the mean old lady, Scarlett and Tiny Tina. I can't forget my horse Paco, a 14 year old red appaloosa gelding.
