Margaret's Story

Life is good. My husband Rick and I live in the mountains of SW Virginia and love it here. We celebrated our 27th anniversary last week. We are avid hikers and have done most of the AT throughout TN, NC and VA. We also love to travel the world and have been to amazing places.
Rick is president of a defense company and I am a pharmacist. Our friends love to introduce us to others as an "Arms Dealer" and "Drug Dealer". haha
We have 3 children that we raised in Austin. Brian is still there and goes to the University. Jamie graduated from UT with an accounting degree and is studying for her CPA. She also lives in Austin. Jason is in graduate school at Virginia Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
High School
I don't have too many fond memories of high school - like most people. I was rather rebellious and was in a "fog" a lot of the time....Expand for more
I don't keep up with anyone I knew, however I would love to hear from anyone - I'm on FB as Maggie Beaulieu.
College
After working a while I went to SWTSU and got a BS in Medical Technology. It was a fun time. Lots of tubing, swimming and partying. I tended bar at Cheatam Street - a local hangout with great music.
After working a while I went to UT in Austin to pharmacy school. Hard - but fun. Loved football night. I still proudly display the Longhorn banner at my house even though this is serious HOKIE COUNTRY.
Workplace
Loved Austin. Stayed there after graduation. Went to work as pharmacist at Albertsons first in New Braunfels then in East Austin. It was a good job. We lived in Southwest Austin and raised our kids there. I have the 2 kiddos there plus my mom, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Needless to say I visit Austin about every 6-8 weeks.
