Margaret's Story
Married in 1962, We have four children. Unfortunately, my husband was killed in 1977. I returned to school at the local Community College in upstate New York where we were living when my husband was killed. Graduated with an Associates degree in Paralegalism. Decided to go on for my bachelors degree. Graduated with a Political Science Bachelor Degree. Remarried in 1981 to a man with four children, so we established our own ‘Brady Bunch’. I continued on to Law School and got my J.D. in 1986. All of the kids have also perused degrees. ialist working on Mergers and Acquisitions at General Electric, the next is a Sales Rep. and Troubleshooter for a cardboard manufacturing company, the next is a Nurse Practitioner whose speciality is Cardiology, the next is a corporate employment statistician and last but not least the youngest is a Pediatric Physical Therapist. If I sound proud, it’s because I am. After practicing law for 30 years, and my husband working as an auditor and comptroller for more than 40 years, we both retired and relocated to a beautiful area just south of Knoxville, Tennessee. It is a senior retirement community with plenty of activities that can be done in a beautiful mountainous area a little north of the Smoky Mountains. Life is good😊
