Margaret (Nickie)'s Story
After graduation I married Guy Davis from El Rio. We met at the beach in Ventura my senior year. We had 2 children before we divorced. I met my husband Lance Johnson in San Diego CA. After our first daughter was born we moved to his home town in South Dakota. We had another daughter shortly after. Lance took over farming the 3 generation family farm. Lance, our girls and I had a the good life on the farm as beef producers. The girls and I enjoyed horses and rodeos. t to Huron University for business management and Criminal justice. I worked with adolescents in treatment centers for substance abuse when not working in retail. I enjoy my dogs. I bred and showed Akc chihuahuas for many years. Now retired I have two standard poodles and a Chihuahua. My poodle Grace and I visited hospitals, schools and libraries as part of Therapy Dogs International before Covid-19. Grace loves visiting and it is rewarding for me to brighten someone's day. I look forward to life returning to normal so we can resume our visiting. Lance and I enjoy travel and camping in our RV. I look forward to our next trip.
