Margaret's Story
I married Michael Bailey from Anaheim in September 1960. At the time Mike was in the Navy so we moved to New London Ct. I had my first child, Michelle, in November of 1961. Our second daughter, Mary, was born in 1965 in Honolulu Hawaii and our third daughter was born in 1969 while we were living in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 1978 Mike retired from the Navy as a Sr. Chief Petty Officer. (E8) . During the time in the navy we lived in New London CT, Virginia Beach VA, Charleston SC, Honolulu HI, Bel Air WA (near Bremerton), and Sonoma CA (stationed at Vallejo). Some of these places multiple times.

lifornia where Mike worked for Westinghouse for a year as a technical writer then the went to work for Lockheed Missiles and Space as a Field Engineer they moved us back to Maine to the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard. We lived in a lovely little beach town called York Beach and we loved it there. After three and a half years they moved us back to Sunnyvale California where we loved for the rest of our years with Lockheed. Mike retired from Lockheed Martin in 2000.
In 2000 we moved up to Humboldt Co to the charming town of Ferndale where we had our dream house built. We had planed to live there for the rest of our lives but God had other plans for us. more later
