Margaret's Story

Life Hi all, lets see what I've done in the last 39 years.... I got my first real job at USDA- Food Stamp in the summer of 1967. I got married on 2/11/68 and moved to Ft. Benning, GA. I had one daughter, Lynn Marie on 3/11/69. After Lynn was born I worked at Roosevelt Univeristy and took classes there. I graduated in 1979. While I was working/going to school I did an internship at the National Labor Relations Board as a board agent prior to graduation. abor practices involving discharges for union activity or over bargaining problems between employers and unions. The law also prohits certain strikes and we can stop such an unlawful strike.) I have worked for the NLRB since graduation and I am now a group supervisor. I divorced my first husband in 1980 and remarried in 1982. I have two step daughters, 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs - Seamus & Molly. My husband John, also a supervisor at the Board, and I live in Long Grove. I love gardening, quilting, scrapbooking and card making. John and I are aiming at retiring in January 2007.
