Margaret's Story
In a nutshell (so to speak): I graduated UC Berkeley in 65, went to the University of Kansas for a master's degree in psychology, then lived in Kansas City until 1974, working on Great Society programs. Moved to New York City, where I've worked in a variety of roles as a researcher, with a focus on physical and cognitive disabilities, getting my doctorate in 19...Expand for more
82. I married in 1979 for the first and only time and had a daughter, Hannah, who is now 26. My husband is a psychologist and researcher at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and my daughter is a literary agent in NYC. I've traveled a lot, and just took a trip to California, where I reconnected with a childhood friend (Shirley Rife Simmons) I hadn't seen since 1966.
