Margaret's Story
Life
I graduated in 1965. In 1966 I married Charles L. Spencer, III, who was serving with the USAF at that time and was another graduate of Myers Park. We had a daughter, Lisa, in July 1969. We divorced in 1971.
Later I married again. This time to Ruel H. Morgan, another graduate of Myers Park who was also serving in the USAF. We had a daughter, Celina, in 1973. She has given us two grandsons, one is almost 12 and the other almost 9. They are the light of our life.

le in the USAF, we lived in North Carolina, North Dakota, and Hawaii. Ruel was also stationed in England, Nebraska, and pulled two tours in Turkey.
In 1982, I began work with Duke Power Company. I retired 1/1/07, after twenty five years with them (now Duke Energy Corp.). Ruel retired from the USAF in 1984 and also went to work for Duke Power. He plans to retire 8/1/07.
We love to travel and spend most of our vacation time in Hawaii and Germany, two places we dearly love.
