Margaret's Story
Life
I have not kept in touch with anyone from high school. After I graduated
I went to Lake Forest College in the Chicago area. During college my
parents moved "back east" to Rhode Island. After college I went to
McCormick Theological Seminary where I got a Master of Divinity degree.
I was ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1978. I served congregations
in Illinois, Iowa, and yes...I went back to Nebraska...where I served as

a 4-church rural parish along the Missouri river. After that I went
to Rochester, NY. After serving a congregation there I decided to shift
focus and become a hospital chaplain. The last fourteen years I have been
in New Jersey where I have been Director of Pastoral Care, first at
Wayne General Hospital, and now at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
I have occasionally heard from Marianne Moessner, now Marrianne Chen
but not in quite a while.
