in Secondary Education/Athletic Administration at JMU. In 1989, our daughter Elizabeth was born, followed three years later by our son, Ben. I spent several years first as a Human Resources Generalist and then as a Corporate Trainer before I realized how profoundly bored I had become. In 1997 I made the leap to the fire service, and became a firefighter/paramedic. We are currently living in the Atlanta area where my husband and I continue to work in the fire service.
