Life Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. It has been a winding trail so far, and there are very few things that I would change. The good and the not so good things have shaped me into the person I have become. After graduating from grand old Altus High, I graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. I have taught special education for several years. I was married from 1996-2001. It was a growing up experience. Becoming an orphan and a divorcee within 12 months of each other left me feeling incredibly depressed. I found new strength and hope I didn't know I had. I never thought that I would get married again. However, I met Dean in 2003. It was like meeting an old friend. Until then I thought that soul mates was something that Hollywood had made up. We married July 3, 2004. I have a child of my heart (my step-daughter) who is 16 years old.
