Margaret's Story

In 1972 I married an Australian (met him in London)and moved to Melbourne Australia. I am an Australian citizen as well as an American citizen.
Before I migrated to Australia I was living in San Francisco teaching in a girls' private school. When I first came to Australia, I taught in a local school.
I then decided to return to study and was fortunate to go to Law School. After that I became a ...Expand for more
barrister (wig and gown as in the UK). At first my main work was in personal injuries. Later I concentrated in wills, probate and court appearances. After that I concentrated on research for my husband who is also a barrister. I have retired this year and am enjoying going to art galleries and catching up with friends.
