Margaret's Story
I am currently living in Naperville, near Chicago. In between California and Illinois I have lived in Rhode Island, Alaska and Kansas. Currently I am semiretired, working at a Jewel bakery and am also involved in network marketing for Winalite, Rain, JavaFit and TVIExpress, a travel company. It is busy, exhausting and fun. I love meeting people and helping them better their lives. My only child, Anne, lives 4 miles away with her husband and 3 children. My husband and I have a small family of 3 cats, a miniature rat terrier, a tank full of fancy guppies, and a horse (who doesn't live at home). I enjoy all kinds of music, gardening, scrapbooking, riding and nature in general and am looking forward to our reunion next September.

When I was 8 I wanted a rabbit in the worst way possible, but Mom said NO. Then Aunt Betsy came to visit. She decided I needed the rabbit (actually, it was a hare), built a hutch, and presented hare and hutch to one very surprised and delighted little girl! Mom, sticking to her guns, named him Hosenpfeffer (German for rabbit stew)...

e right.
The biggest surprise of my life is that I have lived in the midwest now for 21 years. Never expected that!
The teacher I would most like to see again is Mr. Stretch. He inspired me, amused us and taught us things that I have never forgotten (like, did you know you can make ether from onions?).
At UC Berkeley I lived in the coop, Hansen Hall (I can't really remember the name, but I sure remember the building). We had a tough housemother, Mrs. Seemer [sp?]. So, as a rebellious act, a group of us selected a large closet off one of the living rooms (this used to be a red light house in its glory days). In it we put a number of cushions, pictures, and a sign "Mrs. Seemer's Sitting Room". We enjoyed it for quite a while before she discovered it, to everyone's dismay.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by living day to day. Eating healthy food, being with people I like or love, enjoying my businesses, hobbies and beasties, and loving the Lord. Notice lack of exercise -- I can't tell you how many times I have tried to schedule exercise at home and at gyms, but it seems I can only exercise by actually doing something that demands physical activity. Otherwise, that recliner seems mighty comfortable!
