Margaruite's Story
How did I get here?????? Married all my life , loving my home of 20 yrs., blessed with three almost perfect children, 5 grandchildren and one perfect great grandson!
I am from the tragic house fire in 1954 that took the lives of my Mother, brother and sister.
I live only 15 miles from my birth house in Buckeye, but it is a million miles away! Against the backdrop of the desert, a lake, and the Estrella Mountains, complete the simple peasures that make up my life.
Never won the lottery, still wondering what I will be when I grow up, and being happy is my primary goal!

Went with sister to her 50th reunion held at Sharon Beyers home. Surprised to see everyone looked as
old as I do!!!! I I connected with Class mates, Jo harder, Isla Burgelson? and Betty Gilbertson. Had a good time ! Update3/22/11
A tiny teacup chihuahua came into my life on Valentine day! My first dog in over 30 years!! I am
in love again!!!! I named her Lolly Bee. She now weights 1lbs 4.5 oz. Update3/22/11
A new laptop also came into my life!! Now wireless!!! another great feeling! Also having fun downloading books onto my Kindle. Spring has sprung and all my flowers are in bloom! Enjoying this short season.
Wishing more classmates would write a life story and add a few photo's!!!
RETURNED FROM 8 WONDERFUL DAYS IS MAUI, HAWAII. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME THERE . WE DROVE THE ROAD TO HANA, SNORKLED AND ZIP LINED THE 8 LINE COURSE! I loved it and will do it again!
Update 01-21-12-
Hubby started 2nd round of chemo . He still works everyday,looks and feels good. A couple trips to NC,another diet started, a family reunion and that completed 2011.Looking forward for 2012.

I hit the "I can't believe I'm 68 years old " birthday. Glad I made it- got a lot of very NICE gifts! Here I am on the planning committee for the big 50 reunion. I didn't graduate with my class, but instead I married at 16 .I thought that would solve all my problems. Well it only created more!! My 3rd great grandchild will be born in July! Lolly Bee now weights 4lbs 6 0z. I am still on a diet------Spring flowers almost gone--...Expand for more
-already planning my fall garden. Looks like 2012 will be another great year!
Trips and visits have filled the first half of 2012. After the 3rd round of chemo,, Hubby is in remission! Getting excited for our 50th reunion! I tried to lose 50lbs, but it didn't happen! I wanted a face lift but decided to save my money. I saw that I would need my jiggly arms reduced and the extra skin removed. Anyway it is what it is, so I will go as a natural! Fall will be here soon and that always lifts my spirits.

Veggies planted, flower seeds in and already coming up! Best time of the year! Spent two weeks in beautiful NC visiting Grands and Greats.
50th yr. reunion was fun catching up-didn't have enough time to see everyone. Thinking about a cruise for our 55th. If anyone is interested, lets start saving and planning!!!

Time flies at this age! Still on a diet-I can now read my little Lolly Bee's mind- planning another NC trip and from there a flight to Disneyland to watch girls UA Wildcat Pom Line in competition. Another great Grandchild on it's way! Another good year in the making!
Update 11-6-13 --
Another Birthday and decided not to ever diet again! IT IS WHAT IT IS! Hubby finished 4th round of chemo. My sister Carlene passed away September 27th. This was a shock to the family and we are still in denial. Sadly her husband passed away four months earlier. Another trip to NC to meet my 4th great-grand child. Rescued a little male Chihuahua, 7years old, missing all his teeth, but does not have any trouble eating! This year has been not been a good year in the making as I stated in my last post. Praying for safe return of grandson serving in Afghanistan. Hopefully He will be out in March. Also praying for our once GREAT COUNTRY.
update 10-11-14
June came with the news that Hospice should and would be our choice. 4 months later my husband of 38 yrs. passed away. "Bittersweet" the Pastor said. He hit the nail on the head! Blessed that we were able to visit with Grandson, home safe from Afghanistan . Fall flowers seeds just peeking through is a few spots! A time for every season........
