Margi's Story
in a nut shell.... went to NEMO state got an associates, went to work, got married, worked some more, got divorced, went back to school, got back in a second relationship, worked some more, went back for more school, got single (again), worked some more, met someone,moved to FL, got single (again - hey - at least I didn't marry all 3!), back in school for PhD (hopefully before I freakin' retire!), working still. I work in medical research, am an Assistant Director for the University of South FL in Tampa, live 2mi from the beach, spend my weekends on the boat or beach or in the pool with my buddies and older brother (...Expand for more
he moved with me and ex down here, while the ex has flown the coop - Ken remains here in sunny FL with me). I've decided that while growing older isn't optional (or for sissies!), that growing up is! I like life outside of work simple and fun, I like my work challenging and rewarding. I'm one of the few people I know that can say they love thier job - and that's saying something! I was pretty quiet in school (shy), had a small but close group of friends, but now I'm not so shy (some might say a bit nuts, I prefer 'engaging' :) - but while I love to meet new people, I still value my closest / small circle of freinds.
