Life Be sure and read my announcement posted July 31, 2005. After graduation from Howard I received my bachelors and masters degrees from Memphis State (now University of Memphis). I taught special education and worked on a federal project to train teachers with "special" needs children in the regular classroom setting. Along with my husband, I owned and operated an automotive repair shop and parts business for twenty years. We sold the parts business division in 1995 and for the next eight years I worked first as the office manager and then as the executive producer of a community theater. I am now retired. I live in the country north of Memphis. I raise trees and wildlife. In fact there is a family of raccoons who knock on the door at night for dinner.
