Margie's Story

Life Hi! To the class of 81 and anyone else who might remember me from way back when. Well, after graduation I attended BCC for about 4 months for Dental Assisting, but soon realized it was not for me, so I applied for a job at Nova Animal Hospital and got it. Worked there for almost 4 yrs. Got married in May of 86 to my wonderful husband of 22 yrs. We have 3 wonderful children. Jaymie is our girl, she is 20 and attending college at Georgia Perimeter in Atlanta, GA. Plans on going on to Georgia Tech and study Enginering. We have 2 boys, Aaron is 16 going on 21 and Wayde is 13 and he is our ROCKER. His favorite band right now is Slipknot. He's learning to play the lead guitar and is pretty good at it, maybe we'll see him on stage someday. For the past 22 yrs I have been a stay at home mom and I have loved every minute of it would not have wanted it any other way, but it seems that thing...Expand for more
s are about to change. My family and I have just moved back to Davie after living in Dade City for a year and a half, which is a small town about 35 minutes north of Tampa. Its been nice living in the country, but I've missed the city and expecially the beaches. Have moved back into our home that we built. Been trying to sale, but have had no luck. Was leasing it, but that turned out to be a nightmare. So, here we are and I couldn't be happier to be back in my home town. My husband is a GC and times are tough right now we're trying to keep afloat, but its really hard. Sure hope things change soon. Seems I need to get my butt back to work, very scary after 22 yrs of staying home and not having to worry about a thing. Well, I guess I've gotten everyone up to date about my life. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me or even if you don't. Live on forever class of 81. GO COWBOYS!
