Margie's Story

Life I have been married to my guy, Howard, for 51 years. We have 3 children (his, mine, and ours), 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grands. I met Howard when we were both divorced and living in Belmont Shore in 1970. I started working at North American Aviation 3 days after high school...Expand for more
graduation. Howard and I both retired from Boeing (originally North American/Rockwell) in 2000. Now, here it is 2023 already. We spent 19 winters at the Islander Resort in Lake Havasu AZ with many Snowbird friends. We are doing well. We have a wonderful family and a happy life.

Had a great day on Lake Almanor today with daughter, Kristen Hayungs Stelzriede and son-in-law, Monte. We got to be "passengers."
Happy 7-months to our youngest granddaughter, Claire. She is a sweet and happy little girl. Lots of smiles, giggles, and hugs.
