Margie's Story

I am now living in Danville, Ca. which is about 45 miles southeast of San Francisco. I married Ken Shove (also a '51 El Monte grad). We were married 39 years. I am now a widow. Ken died after open heart surgery in 1993. He was 60 years old. He was a great husband and wonderful father. Our two daughters live nearby. I have one grandson. I love to garden. re I live. I work out at the gym 3 days a week. Eat healthy. Also published a cookbook in 1989. Always loved cooking and recently retired as a Personal chef for working families. I have a great circle of friends. We have season tickets to the theater, belong to the garden club, a gourmet dinner group, as well as a card group. Life is good....I hope it is also good for you too.
