My story has been requested.......so here goes. I was born in Cumberland, Maryland, lived ther until age 9, then moved with my parents to Mansfield, Ohio. Dad had gotten a job with the new GM plant. I am an only child. After getting to Mansfield I attended Madison schools, Woodville, Madison Jr, and Sr. In my sophmore year I met Ron, from Lucas, we dated on and off for over a year. In November of my junior year, we got married. Just celebrated our 44th anniversary this November 13th. I continued high school, Ron was already graduated. He was drafted after we were married 10 months, left for service and was in Vietnam by March of 66. Our first son was born in July of 67. Ron was wounded in Vietnam, was in a Japan hospital for 3 months,returned to Vietnam, came home March of 68. We got on with our lives, had our second son in 74.
