Hi, well its been along, long time since I have been in Sunland,Tujunga.Last time was around 1988 for Doug Slaters 40th birthday party...after my parents died in 1973 and 1976 most everyone I knew had moved away or I had lost contact when I moved to orange Co.in 1969when I met and married Mark Halliday, that marriage lasted 6 yrs.I eventually ended up in Santa Clarita Valley where I raised my daughter (Shannon) until she was 14. We became Christians there in the valley in 1978 . I worked for David A.Tanner DDS and part time work at the Castaic Landing Resturant in Castaic,Ca. mostly on weekends until the resturant was sold in 1988 by that time most of my family migrated to Oregon so I thought it was time to do the same, so I did and lived in Grants Pass along with my older Sister and Brother which was great as I was never raised with them as most know I was adopted by my grandparents very early in my life, like 3 weeks old, so we were all together again and we had great times,we still do, as I make a trip each year.I met and married Jimmy Cooper there in Grants Pass, although he was originally from Shreveport, La., Jimmy had 4 children in which two lived with us, so we finished raising the 3 children together and when they were grown we,(actually He)decided we needed to move back to Louisiana, that was 21 yrs. ago. jimmy and I have now been together for 28 years...life was very good to me and I have been very blessed...ok there were a few bumps and hills along the way..such as in Jan.2009...Expand for more
