Marguerite's Story
After high school I worked full time and went to Miami Dade Community College. In 1977 I went to work for the Postal Service in the Computer Mail Forwarding System. One year later I met my husband John Goulet and married. John was a police officer with the Dania Police Department. We moved to Pembroke Pines were we started our family. We had two children Nicole in 1982 and John 1984. John went to work for Broward Sheriff;s Office and was promoted to Sergeant. outs, St. Boniface Church. In January 2001 John was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in October 2001. I was blessed with two grandson's. They are heaven on earth! I live in Ft. Lauderdale and enjoy sailing and scuba diving with my new love Kevin. We have been together since 2003. I retired from the Postal Service, secretary to the District Manager, Human Resources in 2013 and am enjoying retired life.
I was installed into The Rotary Club of Hallandale Beach/Aventura this past December 2016. I'm looking forward to many events and service activities.
