Marguerite's Story
We moved to Arizona in 1991 since my parents had been living there for quite a long time. Of course, we had many opportunities to visit them to get the lay of the land. I knew my husband was retiring and wanted to get his trainors license so he could train and race our own horses. Well, you win some and lose some but we have always had horses and I can't imagine my life without them.

My life changed dramatically last year when my beloved husband had to go on dialysis and had ...Expand for more
a weak heart. This was due to the bone marrow transplant he had years before and the radiation. He was really put through the mill. But after that we had some excellent years. My beautiful husband, Bob, passed away last year of heart failure and kidney complications.
I'm still trying to find my way. My husband made me promise that I would go forward (not backward). I will always love him and miss him. And I promised him that I would try to make a good life until I kick the bucket and see him again! I have nothing left to give to anyone except friendship.
