Marguerite's Story
It's been 58 years since our Green Tree days and much has happened in my life. After graduation I joined the IHM sisters - teaching in PA, NJ, and VA. In 1977 I left the community and re-located to Maine where I served as a Pastoral Associate at St. Philip's Parish in Auburn, ME. Then in 1993 I accepted the position of Vice-President of Mission Effectiveness at St. Mary's Health System in Lewiston, ME. vel - sometimes back to Philly - and also to Texas, New Jersey and Florida. Recently I have developed a retreat entitled Spirituality of Aging and I have had the opportunity to offer it at the College of St. Elizabeth in NJ, Santa Maria Parish in Flagler Beach, FL,, Marie Joseph Spiritual Center in Biddeford Pool, ME, Hope Gateway Methodist Church in Portland, ME and at St. Mary's Health System in Lewiston , ME. Now I am working on the creation of a retreat on Finding and Nurturing Sanctuary. Plus I teach at the Senior College associated with the University of Southern Maine.
