It's been over 30 years since I've walked the halls of SHS and over 36 since I attended Manning Christian Academy before moving to Summerville. There's no way I could share it all in such a small amount of space and I'm sure it would probably bore most of you to death anyway. For a brief rundown... I became a "Navy Wife" shortly after graduation and spent the next 10 years traveling around the country. I lived in Great Lakes Illinois, Groton Connecticut, back to Charleston for a little bit, 3 years in Hawaii, then to Virginia Beach, Virginia. After 9 years of marriage and going through a divorce I remarried and moved to Toledo Ohio, where I've lived for more than 20 years. I had 3 children with my first husband (2 boys and a girl) and adopted my second husband's 3 children so I have my name on 6 birth certificates. My kids range from 23 to 30, 4 boys, 2 girls. Now, as I approach 50 years old this fall, I have 10 grandchildren also. I work in Property Management - I've managed apartment communities for the past 20 plus years.
