Mari's Story
Life
I only have one child. He was 10 and 1/2 pounds when he was born . If any of you remember how small I am you'll know why I didn't have any more!!!! LOL
Workplace
I started as an Air Traffic Controller in the military. I decided that that was what I was going to do at 15! The military was the best way to get the training so I signed up. ivilian and started a family I exited stage left. I didn't want to work shift work with a young child and my family didn't want to mover wherever the FAA sent me. (They are a whole lot like the military in that way!) I got a job with the State of Alaska, Department of Labor as an Administrative Manager instead.
Tired of the bull*%*^ involved with the State system, I am currently an honor's student at UAF. I am studying education. I am going to become a teacher, imagine that!
