Maria-Magdalena Gonzalez (Aviña):  

I went to LHS during my Jr. high school years and graduated in the Summer of 1966. Then continued high school at LHS and graduated in the Summer of 1969, Les Regents. In high school I was known as Magdalena Aviña, was a member of several school clubs, student goverment and also a member of the drill team. After high school I went to LACC and received an AA degree in Secretarial Science specializing in medical terminology. Just before graduating from LHS in the summer of 1969, I met and later that summer dated a great and talented guy (lead guitar and singer) dated him for 3 years then got married. A year later we had a beautiful baby boy, he is a great son, husband and dad ~ my son has three children and I am a very happy grandmother. Seven years later my beautiful daughter was born, she is a a grade school reading specialist and teacher, she has a BA from Loyola Marymount University and two Master degrees. My daughter has been teaching in Brasilia, Brazil for the past 3 1/2 years. WOW I miss her soooooooooooooooo much. But that's life, gotta let them go, be there for them and wish them the best. I am very proud of my children and their accomplishments. My marriage was rocky from the beginning, but it was great when dating. Separated and afer a number of years got divorced.
