Maria's Story
Life
I attended many schools, as we moved around a lot. I attended Christ the King elementary in Corpus Christi Texas, Jackson Jr High Alberquerque,NM, Queen Anne High, Seattle WA, Mountlake Terrace,Mountlake Terrace WA, Kahuku High, Kahuku HAWAII...I married right out of high school and I have four sons and a daughter, one son lives in Northern Calif. and is a pilot, another is an electrician and works for the New England Patriots Football Team, another is a State Police officer in Massachusetts, and my youngest son is a cook, my daughter (and youngest) is a junior at the University of North Dakota and is a DJ on a local radio station. in 1977 and have loved it here. I went to the University of North Dakota from 1987 to 1992 and graduated with a degree in Social Work. I worked in Child welfare and am presently working as a casemanager and manager of a homeless Shelter for women and children. I love my job. My hobbies are reading, sewing, stamping, and gardening. I teach CCD twice a week at my church, and I do numerous volunteer things. I bowl on a league once a week and I teach a budgeting class once a month. I love working with people. I see many names on the class lists that I remember and I'm hoping to be able to communicate with them. I was never a very good student mainly because I hated moving around so much.
